Clearwater Pier 60– Registration is now open for the 17th Annual Kid's Make A Difference Fishing Tournament. The tournament will be held at Pier 60 Clearwater Beach on Saturday, October 1, 2011. All kids must be registered to participate. Please download the register form.

The City of Largo’s Central Park Nature Preserve located at East Bay Drive and Highland Missouri Avenue was host to over 80 special anglers and their families this past April 1st. A day at the nature preserve was more than just fishing. Kids and parents had the opportunity to stroll around the 31 acre park that is virtually surrounded by water. The wet land marsh is home to over 130 species of birds, otters, red fox, alligators, rabbits and even wild turkeys, according to the Parks and Recreation guide.

Annual Benefit Auction and Casino Night – Over 700 contributors attended the 2010 Benefit auction and casino night held August 20th at the Sheraton on Sand Key. According to guests attending past year’s fund raiser this year’s event was the biggest and best ever.
